Hayride to the Pumpkin Patch

26 Oct

By Kevin Barnette

Liz and I ran a trip to Brad’s Produce this past Friday for our annual pumpkin patch picking and hayride event.  About 16 clients attended.

Although it was VERY windy and the pumpkin patch had mostly small pumpkins left, everyone seemed to have a good time.

Here are some pictures of the event.  You can click on each thumbnail below to see the photo enlarged.

“Discovering Your Recovery Muse” Workshop

16 Oct

ooomdlogoI neglected to say thanks to Kristen Myers with On Our Own of Maryland for the delightful workshop a few weeks back entitled “Discovering Your Recovery Muse“.  Clients and staff all commented on it being interesting, active, and well-run.

Here’s the description of the workshop:

“Discovering your recovery muse is a fun, 2-hour, interactive workshop that allows participants to experience various creative processes such as art, dance, music, and writing that they can use to enhance their recovery.”
